01. The short version
This website is operated by BEECHWOOD SOFAS LIMITED, trading as D&P Upholstery, company number 05248879. Essential functions work without optional tracking. When configured, we use Google Analytics through Site Kit for website measurement and Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement. You choose analytics and advertising separately in Cookie preferences.
The integrated Site Kit Analytics scripts and Meta Pixel stay off until the relevant choice is made. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent an enquiry from reaching our team or workflow system. Scrolling or continuing to browse is not consent.
Our photographs, fonts and video players are served from our website. Google Maps links open an external website when followed; they are not embedded maps. External websites have their own privacy arrangements.
02. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies and local storage let a website remember information on your device. The exact optional cookies present depend on the services enabled and your choices. A category marked “Currently switched off” in the preferences panel is unavailable on this installation.
| Item | Purpose / category | Duration |
|---|---|---|
dp_cookie_preferences_v2First-party local storage | Essential: stores the notice version, category choices and expiry. Contains no enquiry details. | 180 days |
wp_consent_* cookies, when WP Consent API is active | Essential: communicates your category choices to supported WordPress plugins, including Site Kit. | 180 days in this integration |
dp_lead_attribution_v1First-party local storage | Optional analytics or advertising: first and last campaign labels, landing path and referring website. Used with an enquiry to understand its source. | Up to 30 days from the start of the stored history; removed when both optional categories are withdrawn |
dp_lead_events_v1First-party local storage | Optional analytics or advertising: random conversion references to avoid reporting a successfully saved enquiry more than once. | Up to 30 days; removed when both optional categories are withdrawn |
Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* | Analytics: distinguish visits and measure page interactions and successful enquiries. | Normally up to 2 years; can be shorter under property or browser settings |
Meta cookies such as _fbp and, where used by Meta, _fbc | Advertising: measure Facebook/Instagram advertising and associate events with ad interactions. | Normally up to 90 days; Meta or browser settings may change this |
WordPress login/admin cookies, including wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie and wp-settings-* | Essential: authorised sign-in and admin preferences. Not created by the public enquiry form for ordinary visitors. | Session, login expiry or up to one year for interface preferences |
wp-postpass_* | Essential: used only when you enter a password for protected WordPress content. | Normally 10 days |
Optional providers may receive IP address, browser/device information, page information and interaction events. Google and Meta may process this outside the UK. See our Privacy policy, Google’s cookie information and Meta’s cookie policy.
03. Your preferences
The notice offers Reject optional, Accept optional and Choose settings when optional services are available. Settings let you choose analytics and advertising independently. The panel shows which services are currently configured. Necessary storage that remembers your privacy choice remains available.
Use Cookie preferences in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops new conversion events from this integration, clears accessible first-party tracking cookies for the withdrawn category and may reload the page to stop previously loaded scripts. It cannot retrieve information already sent to a provider or remove cookies belonging to another domain. Use your browser and the provider’s controls for those.
Your choice lasts 180 days. A change to the configured services or notice version can ask you again. If your browser blocks storage, the form still works, but your choice may apply only to the current page. The old essential-only preference is replaced when this updated notice is first used.
04. Browser controls
Your browser can inspect, remove or block cookies and site data. Blocking essential cookies may stop WordPress login or protected content working. Clearing site data removes your saved preference. Browser extensions may prevent optional measurement even after consent.
